James Anderson five-for allows England to enforce follow-on despite Azhar Ali century

Anderson endures three dropped catches, while Mohammad Rizwan chimes in with fifty

The Report by Matt Roller23-Aug-2020

James Anderson finally claimed his fifth wicket•AFP

James Anderson’s 29th five-wicket haul in Test cricket enabled England to enforce the follow-on at the Ageas Bowl, despite Azhar Ali holding Pakistan together thanks to his second hundred as captain.Anderson took the first and last wickets of the day after three breakthroughs on the second evening, taking his tally to 598 across his Test career. He removed Asad Shafiq 12 balls into the day, leaving Pakistan reeling at 30 for 4, before eventually dismissing last man Naseem Shah to finish with figures of 5 for 56.That Pakistan’s innings lasted as long as it did owed much to Azhar, whose hundred his was his first away from home since Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan’s joint retirements in 2017. He scored the bulk of his runs behind square, pulling and flicking off the pads when England erred too straight and cutting and steering behind point when they when they went short. With Mohammad Rizwan for support, he guided Pakistan towards the second new ball with a dogged innings, but was eventually left stranded, unbeaten on 141.In a morning session that was again abbreviated by the rain, Anderson added his fourth wicket of the innings, removing Shafiq in his first full over of the day. Shafiq lunged forwardly hopefully at a length ball in the channel, only managing to edge into the slips, and has scored just 46 runs in four innings this series; his run of 72 consecutive Tests might soon come under threat. That gave Fawad Alam an opportunity to bed in after lunch, after nudging Anderson into the off side to score his first Test run in 11 years. He edged Chris Woakes through the slips early on, but started to knuckle down alongside Azhar to lead Pakistan’s recovery. Frustratingly for him, he fell tamely after making a start, offering Jos Buttler a sharp chance behind the stumps after being drawn forward by Dom Bess.Bess quickly found his groove after going unused across the whole of the second Test, settling into a rhythm as Rizwan looked to rebuild alongside Azhar, who survived an England review for caught behind after copping a short ball on the right shoulder. He then ticked past the 6000-run mark in Tests, becoming the fifth Pakistani batsman to reach the landmark as he steered Archer through backward point.Rizwan was busy throughout, despite an early blow on the helmet from Archer, and the pair put on Pakistan’s highest partnership of the series against the old ball. Azhar was particularly strong off his pads, but his off-side game improved as his innings progressed. Archer reverted to short-ball theory with the new ball imminent, but it was Woakes who made the breakthrough thanks to a strangle down the leg side, Buttler again taking a sharp diving catch to remove Rizwan. The timing of the wicket was particularly vital for England, as it meant Pakistan’s bowlers were exposed to the new ball. Broad, who has been brutally effective with the second new ball throughout the summer, struck with it immediately as Root clung onto a sharp chance from a loose push from Yasir Shah.He had a second not long after, as Buttler – who had struggled so much with the gloves throughout the summer before this Test – took a blinding catch off Shaheen Afridi, leaping at full stretch to his right as the tailender looked to fend away a short ball. That left Pakistan clinging on eight wickets down, at which point things became calamitous for Anderson in his attempts to secure a five-for.He had two chances put down in the slips in the 87th over – Azhar dropped by Burns at second slip, Mohammad Abbas shelled at third by Zak Crawley two balls later – and then Broad made a mess of the most straightforward of the lot, Azhar miscuing to him at mid-on. Broad recovered in time to shy at the striker’s end and run Abbas out with a direct hit, but that did little to lift Anderson’s spirits, not least with Azhar sticking around alongside last man Naseem.Anderson barely allowed himself a smile when he eventually broke the partnership, Dom Sibley clinging onto a chance at third slip after he drew an edge from Naseem, taking him to 598.There was never any question as to whether England would enforce the follow-on, but just as things were about to get underway soon after 7pm, the umpires decided that the light was too poor for play to continue. Azhar had moved himself up to open, hoping to carry on from where he had left off, but was denied the opportunity to do so.

  • Kompany accused of a lack of communication
  • Squad selection seems perplexing to many seniors
  • Players want more clarity from the manager
  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The Bavarians have made a perfect start to their campaign and their latest thumping 9-2 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League indicates that the team is heading in the right direction. Despite the positive start, it seems that trouble is brewing inside the Allianz Arena dressing room.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to several Bayern players have raised concerns about the lack of clarity in Kompany’s decisions on the lineup, with some feeling that the 38-year-old coach's communication style leaves much to be desired. It is reported that Kompany informed the matchday lineup via WhatsApp, just one day before their Bundesliga fixture against Holstein Kiel, which ended in a 6-1 victory for Bayern. While the result was positive, how players were informed about their playing status reportedly left some feeling unsettled.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Several key figures like Aleksandar Pavlovic, Mathys Tel, and Michael Olise, who had all played key roles in the previous 2-0 victory against SC Freiburg, found themselves starting on the bench with Sacha Boey, Joao Palhinha, and Kingsley Coman brought into the lineup. What made Kompany’s choices even more surprising was his decision to leave out seasoned stars like Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane, and Alphonso Davies from the starting XI. Whereas, Leon Goretzka was not even included in the matchday squad for the game.

    WHAT NEXT FOR BAYERN MUNICH?

It is common for managers to rotate squads in the early part of the season to keep players fresh, but the abruptness and uncertainty surrounding the selections have caused unrest. Bayern do have a deep squad and intense competition for places, but even seasoned professionals are used to a more transparent approach when it comes to lineup decisions. Their next test comes in the Bundesliga on Saturday when they face Werder Bremen.

IPL 2020: BCCI looking at September-October window, says Brijesh Patel

“It all depends on the future of the T20 World Cup and the Asia Cup”

ESPNcricinfo staff12-Jun-2020The BCCI is looking at the September-October window for holding the delayed 2020 edition of the IPL, Brijesh Patel, the chairman of the league’s governing council, has said. Whether the tournament can be slotted in there, however, “depends on the future” of the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup, which were originally scheduled for September and October-November respectively. While there is considerable doubt over the two multi-team tournaments going ahead this year, the Asian Cricket Council is still hoping to hold the Asia Cup in September, and the ICC has adopted a wait-and-watch approach to decide the fate of the T20 World Cup, to be held in Australia.”Yes, we are looking at those dates, but it all depends on the future of the T20 World Cup and the Asia Cup. Subject to that we are planning (the window for the IPL),” Patel told the .BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had also written to the state associations this week to say that he was optimistic about hosting the IPL, in empty stadiums if needed, and Patel echoed his thoughts.”Again, it depends on how the situation is in September-October,” Patel said. “We have to go by the government directive. First we need the go-ahead from the government. You can’t play a World Cup in empty stadiums. But the IPL being a league, it can be staged behind closed doors. The official broadcaster is OK with that and so are the players because they want to play.”When asked if the governing council was looking at the September-October window because it doesn’t expect the T20 World Cup to go ahead, Patel told the : “They can’t leave it till the last minute. All the teams have to prepare if they are going ahead with it. Otherwise all the alternative plans have to be in place. They should decide shortly.”If the World Cup cannot happen, each board will have to think of how to utilise the October window in consultation with the respective governments.”Patel also said that though the cricket boards in the UAE and in Sri Lanka had offered to host the IPL, the BCCI’s first preference would be to play it in India. “They (Emirates Cricket Board and Sri Lanka Cricket) have informed us that they are prepared to host the IPL. But our first preference is India, if we get the government’s permission,” he said. “It is certain that we cannot play at more than three or four venues in India, but the permissions will depend on how the COVID-19 outbreak pans out.”Otherwise we will have to explore playing overseas, which will be the last option. Once you are playing without spectators, it doesn’t really matter where you are playing as long as it suits television timings.”

Canzi's side entered the game off the back of their success in The Women's Cup in the United States. Facing stern opposition in the form of Bayern, winners of last season's Bundesliga, the Bianconere were praised for producing a "good performance" against Lionesses star Georgia Stanway and Co. Canzi changed his entire XI in the second half, with Lehmann coming on for the final half hour as she continues to settle in following her move from Aston Villa earlier in the summer.

  • WHAT LISA BOATTIN SAID

After the match, Boattin said: "This game was a real demonstration of how we’ve been working this summer. We’ve been training well, a good side is forming here and, as a result, a really good group. We’re happy with the draw because it shows we can go toe to toe with Bayern Munich, who are a very strong team. We’re on the right track and looking forward to the start of the season, to play important matches where points are at stake.

"We, of course, want to start on the right foot, and now we have one more friendly before we play away at Sassuolo to start the season. We will look to make the most of the game against Freedom to be ready for the first competitive game of the season."

    WHAT NEXT FOR JUVENTUS?

Juventus will take on Freedom FC in their final pre-season outing before kicking off the new Serie A season with a trip to Sassuolo on September 1.

It’s time for Clement to unleash Rangers’ £23k-p/w star alongside Silva

Glasgow Rangers play a match at Ibrox for the first time in 16 days as they welcome Hibernian as the visitors in what is a mammoth Premiership clash.

A win for the Gers will see them leapfrog Celtic at the summit of the table, thus piling on the pressure on their Old Firm rivals, who don’t play until Sunday.

Since the 1-0 defeat to Benfica more than two weeks ago, Philippe Clement will have been aiming to get some of his injured players back to full health, yet some are still unavailable…

Rangers team news vs Hibs

Ahead of the league clash, Clement spoke to the media on Friday afternoon as he discussed the state of his squad ahead of the coming matches.

“Sterling, Dowell, Sima and McCausland are back in training,” said the Belgian manager.

“Ridvan, Jack, Cortes & Danilo are out. Ridvan is not long-term, but we will see next week.”

Some good news mixed with a few blows, but the positives look like they are far outweighing any negatives, especially as it shouldn’t be long before the injured players make a return.

Cause for concern could be on the left flank, however, as Sima and Cortes are both still missing. Fabio Silva has done well depositing there, but Clement may move him into a more advanced role in place of Cyriel Dessers against Hibs.

Rangers winger Abdallah Sima.

This could see Rabbi Matondo awarded a start in what could be an ideal opportunity for him to stake a claim in the starting XI.

Rabbi Matondo’s season in numbers for Rangers

The £23k-per-week winger looked as though he was ready to depart Ibrox last summer after a poor debut season, yet he impressed in pre-season ahead of the current campaign.

He finally scored his first goal for the Gers during the 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League qualifiers, being hailed as a “bright spark” in the process by journalist Euan Robertson.

While a few injuries have disrupted his progress since then, the 23-year-old has added another three goals to his tally, along with grabbing four assists, showcasing his talents in spells.

Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo.

Clement could throw him into the mix today and the Welshman could form a dangerous duo with Silva.

In the Premiership this season, Matondo has created four big chances, averaged 0.7 key passes per game and succeeded with 1.3 dribbles per game, clearly indicating that the youngster is able to power past opponents on a regular basis while creating chances for his teammates to convert.

With four goals in his first 14 appearances for the Light Blues, Silva, meanwhile, certainly appears to be enjoying himself in Glasgow while thriving under pressure.

Having Matondo on the left wing supplying him with chances galore could mean the Portuguese striker adds to his goal tally against the Easter Road side.

It will be the first time the duo link up from the first whistle should they be unleashed in the starting XI and Clement will be hoping the pair can cause the Hibs' defence plenty of problems.

Chelsea must drop 3/10 dud for academy gem who Terry says is "unbelievable"

Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea side will be looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins this evening when they travel to face bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

The Blues come into the encounter off the back of a hard-fought and impressive 4-3 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, with the in-form forward Cole Palmer bagging a hat-trick.

However, Chris Wilder's side look set for an immediate return back to the Championship, with the Blades currently on just 15 points, ten points from safety and without a win in five outings.

Chelsea will be looking to close the gap on eighth-placed Newcastle United, who currently sit four points ahead of the Blues, but will still have a game in hand after Sunday's trip to Yorkshire.

However, despite the comeback win against Erik ten Hag's side in midweek, one Blues player must be dropped by Pochettino after his below-par display, allowing a talented youngster to replace him in the starting lineup.

The man who needs to be dropped vs Sheff Utd

Centre-back Benoit Badiashile produced an awful display against the Red Devils, with the Frenchman receiving a 3/10 rating from Evening Standard journalist Nazaar Kinsella.

While midfielder Moises Caicedo was at fault for United's opening goal, 23-year-old Badiashile had a great opportunity to tackle forward Alejandro Garnacho before he scored, but for whatever reason, he failed to make any sort of intervention, with the Argentine pulling one back for his side.

The 6 foot 4 defender's sloppy performance didn't stop there, with the former AS Monaco man giving the ball away for the 19-year-old's second of the evening, which gave ten Hag's side a real route back into the encounter.

Whilst having a 91% pass accuracy, Badiashile failed to win any tackles, with the centre-back looking out of his depth at the back for Pochettino's side.

The man to replace Badiashile

Despite spending over £1b on new additions since the takeover by Todd Boehly, the Blues may turn to a young talent from the academy to replace Badiashile at Bramall Lane.

The "unbelievable" Alfie Gilchrist, as described by Chelsea legend John Terry, joined the Blues as an 11-year-old back in 2014, with the youngster making a handful of appearances for the club's first team.

20-year-old Gilchrist is yet to start a Premier League game for his boyhood club, with the centre-back making seven substitute appearances since his first league outing in the 2-1 win against Crystal Palace back in December.

Alfie Gilchrist

However, he has made three starts in the FA Cup, with the youngster having three starts against Preston, Aston Villa and Leeds United.

Badiashile's poor form coupled with Sheffield United's lowly league position should see Pochettino hand the youngster a first Premier League start, with today a great opportunity for Gilchrist to stake his claim for a starting position at the heart of the Blues' defence.

Arsenal star who made 169 passes was as good as Odegaard vs Sheffield Utd

The sky is blue, the grass is green and Arsenal have scored four or more in a game again.

It was only a couple of months ago that Mikel Arteta's side were in the midst of a goalscoring crisis, with just a single goal coming from 63 shots at one point.

However, in the intervening months, the Gunners have quickly turned into the most lethal team in the country and, after dispatching Sheffield United 6-0 on Monday night, currently possess a goal difference of plus 45 – the best in the league.

It was the sort of performance in which each and every player could leave the pitch with their heads held high, but there were two in particular who deserved to be singled out for praise, the first of which was the captain.

Martin Odegaard's game in numbers

Yes, Martin Odegaard put in what might be one of his best performances of the season at Bramall Lane last night and was justly rewarded with the Man of the Match award.

The mercurial midfielder was involved in practically every aspect of the game, whether through his silky passing, thunderous shots or tireless pressing. He was everywhere, and the Sheffield United players will be having nightmares for weeks.

The Norwegian's brilliance was recognised by the Standard's Simon Collings' who gave his performance a 9/10 on the night, writing that he 'ran the show in midfield' and that the Blades 'couldn't lay a glove' on him.

It's a very complimentary assessment, but one backed up by the numbers, as in Odegaard's 95 minutes of action, he scored a goal, registered 0.21 expected assists, took a mammoth 115 touches, made four key passes, was accurate in both of his attempted long balls, created one big chance and succeeded in all three of his dribbles.

In all, it was about as close to a perfect game as fans will see from their 25-year-old wizard, and while he fully deserves all the praise he's received, there's another starter who deserves just as much credit.

William Saliba's game in numbers

The other player in question is French international and "Rolls-Royce of a defender", as dubbed by The Athletic's Aaron Catterson-Reid, William Saliba.

Now, from looking at the score alone, fans might assume that the 22-year-old had very little to do on the night, and while that might be somewhat true from a defensive point of view, that doesn't mean that he was just sitting in the Arsenal half twiddling his thumbs all game – far from it.

In fact, when looking at his statistics from the match, it becomes quite clear that he was busy throughout, as in his 95 minutes of action, he took 180 touches, was accurate in 169 of his 174 passes, won two of his three duels, lost possession just six times, made one clearance and one interception.

The standout statistics are the number of touches and passes made by the Bondy-born "monster", as dubbed by talent scout Jacek Kulig, and while they're impressive in isolation, they are even more remarkable when compared to the historical data.

According to Orbinho, the head of Optajoe, the Frenchman's 169 passes ranks as the most completed by an Arsenal player in Premier League history, surpassing Santi Cazorla, who held the record previously and sitting behind just three Manchester City players for the most passes in a Premier League match ever.

Incredibly, that tally of passes also happened to be more than the entire of the Sheffield United team combined (142) on the night, a stat that truly sums up Arsenal's dominance in Yorkshire.

In all, while it might not look like the former Saint-Étienne man was doing much considering the score, he was very much involved in the game, so Collings' 6/10 rating and assessment that he was 'rarely called upon' doesn't entirely ring true.

Ultimately, Odegaard fully deserves all the praise he received for his unreal performance last night, but Saliba should also get recognition for his contribution with the ball at his feet.

'Keep your eyes away from Rishabh Pant for a while' – Rohit Sharma

In 2019, Pant has scored just one half-century across 21 appearances for India in white-ball games

Sruthi Ravindranath09-Nov-20190:56

Kumar Sangakkara analyses Rishabh Pant’s keeping technique

Rishabh Pant has been the topic of a lot of debate in recent times and Rohit Sharma, for one, feels the young wicketkeeper-batsman must be “allowed to do what he wants to do on the field” and be left alone. After criticism about his shot selection, Pant the wicketkeeper came under scrutiny after he fluffed a chance to stump Liton Das in the second T20I when he collected the ball marginally in front of the stumps, which resulted in the delivery being called a no-ball.”There’s a lot of talk happening about Rishabh Pant, every day, every minute,” Rohit said on the eve of the third T20I in Nagpur. “I just feel that he needs to be allowed to do what he wants to do on the field. And I would request everyone to just keep your eyes away from Rishabh Pant for a while. He is a young guy, probably 21-22 now, trying to make his mark in international cricket, every move he makes on the field, people start talking about it.”While that might be Rohit’s position on Pant, other senior members of the Indian team set-up haven’t shied away from speaking about the youngster in the recent past. Ravi Shastri had called for a “rap on the knuckles” for Pant for his reckless batting, Vikram Rathour had spoken about the importance of being fearless without being careless, and captain Virat Kohli had called on him to read situations better.”I think it’s not fair, I think we should just allow him to play his cricket, which he also actually wants. And yes, focus on him a lot more when he is doing good things also, not just the bad things,” Rohit said. “He has kept well, he is learning every game, and yes, he is just doing whatever the team management wants him (to do). He is a very fearless cricketer, and we want him to have that freedom. And if you guys just keep your eyes a little bit away from him, it will allow him to perform even better.”Since the start of the year, Pant has scored just one half-century across limited-overs internationals, making 195 runs in 12 matches at an average of 21.66 in T20Is and 188 runs in nine games at 23.50 in ODIs. He played all three formats in the West Indies in August, but though he was retained in the T20Is against South Africa, he was replaced by Wriddhiman Saha for the Tests. While former players including Yuvraj Singh have backed Pant, India’s selectors have also made it clear that they want to persist with him across formats. On being asked what would be his piece of advice to youngsters like Pant – and Shreyas Iyer – Rohit said: “Both of them (are) very talented, have great abilities in whatever they do, and yes, definitely the future of Indian cricket, for sure. And they have proved it whenever they have played for their franchise, domestic cricket. They are just trying to make their mark in international cricket.Rishabh Pant exchanges notes with Rohit Sharma in the nets•Getty Images

“All I would tell them is (to) just understand their game, which is very, very important in whatever format you play, and feeling confident about yourself is very important. I think they are working hard towards their game, and I don’t see any reason why they can’t get the results on the ground. They have everything that is required to be successful at the international level. They work really hard on their games and yes, at the same time they are learning also. They are very new to this set-up. They are learning every game and with experience in a year or two, you will see them batting differently.”All we want them to do is to just go out there and enjoy, and be fearless. That would be the message from my side. Because as a young player when you are coming into the side, that is what you look forward to, having that freedom from the management. That is what we are here to assure them, that ‘you have all the backing that you need, you have all the freedom that you need, so just go out there and express yourself’. That is when players like these give you the best performance.”Over to the bowling unit, and while India have been attempting to give more and more players a chance in the lead up to the T20 World Cup next year, not all of them have grabbed their chances yet. Khaleel Ahmed, for one.”This is the time for youngsters to learn. We always say that playing domestic cricket is important and learn more. Till you don’t play international cricket you won’t know where you stand as a bowler,” Rohit said. “I think this is a good challenge for our bowling group because you’re playing against an international team. They will always challenge you, batsmen will play shots and challenge you. You won’t know where is your bowling until you’re put under pressure. I think for these bowlers it’s a good time to know where they stand.”

I needed to prove Ravi Bopara wrong to make him believe, says Simon Harmer

Essex captain Simon Harmer argued that his decision to drop Ravi Bopara for two group games after an argument regarding his batting position was vindicated by his performances from No. 6 during his side’s improbable surge to the Vitality Blast T20 trophy.Bopara was left out of games against Hampshire and Gloucestershire after what he called some “very tough conversations” with his captain, and admitted before the quarter-final against Lancashire that he was “still not happy down there”, but produced three consecutive man-of-the-match efforts to take Essex to Finals Day, and made 36 not out off 22 balls to help seal victory in the final.”That was one of the decisions that needed to be made,” said Harmer after Essex’s triumph.”In my opinion, Ravi is one of, if not the best, finisher of T20 innings, I felt that in order to for us to win games, we needed him to come in and win [them] for us. [It’s] pointless him walking in at three and getting a good ball and he’s sitting back in the hut.”Sometimes you need to prove people wrong in order to make them believe and I think that was the case with him. He came back after time away from the team.”He bought in 100 percent and reaped the rewards. He’s an incredibly talented cricketer, the way he thinks about cricket and the way he bats, the way he bowls, the execution of his skill.”Bopara signaled in the build-up to Finals Day that he may look to give up red-ball cricket next year and aim to prolong his career on the global T20 circuit, and Harmer suggested that he is most valuable coming in with five or six overs to spare.”He’s an unbelievable player,” he said, “so I can understand his frustration. But hopefully even if it’s not now, five years down the line he can sit back and realise that he is actually best suited to five or six.”Simon Harmer celebrates victory with Ravi Bopara•Getty Images

Worcestershire captain Moeen Ali agreed that Bopara had been “outstanding”.”In my opinion, he won them the game,” Moeen said. “His experience showed. I’m just disappointed with the result.”Harmer took over the T20 captaincy from Ryan ten Doeschate this season, and had never previously captained a side for a full season in the format, but said that he had come in with a clear plan of what needed to change and how he wanted Essex to approach the Blast.”There were some difficult decisions that needed to be made,” he said. “A couple of players got dropped, senior players – not popular opinion in order to drop them – but [it was] what I felt was best for the team in order to get 11 guys on the park who were all pulling in the same direction.”There were changes, in my opinion, that needed to happen in order for us to move forward as a T20 team. But the South African mindset and the competitive environment that I grew up in – to come over here, you need to understand how things work.”If you look at some of the South African coaches, or sometimes the players that have come over have clashed heads with English players – I think there’s a certain narrative in terms of how things work and how to get people to buy in.”For me to come in and just throw out demands and orders and this is how we’re going to play – I was very conscious of that at the beginning – of how I wanted to go about it, of how I needed to get the guys to buy in… that was probably my toughest challenge, but after that things kind of went our way.”Harmer made his own match-winning contributions in the knockout stages, returning the best-ever combined figures on Finals Day of 7 for 35 across the two fixtures before a game-changing cameo of 18 off 7 balls, and argued that his side’s belief was what got them over the line.”We have all the tools,” he said. “We have all the players. We have what you cannot buy, which is the camaraderie in the dressing room. There’s a lot of love in our dressing room for the guy next to you.”In my opinion, you cannot buy that. You can bring in players, you can do what you want, but you can’t buy a bond between people. So that’s why I was quite vocal tonight in terms of how I want people – especially at Essex County Cricket Club – to change the mentality of a small cricket club because we don’t have the money.”It’s always excuses. In my opinion, those need to go. We have the tools to be very competitive over the next five years in all three formats, but we need to start believing.”As it works in cricket, when you need to chase down 300 in a 50-over game, people only start to believe when somebody scores a hundred or somebody takes a five-for.”Essex have the chance to secure an unprecedented T20/Championship double this week, as they travel to Taunton on Monday for a winner-takes-all four-day game, and Harmer said they could take the Blast win into that match.”Now, with us winning this T20 trophy, I think the belief is there and the players now understand that actually we are good enough,” he said. “All the noise in the background is just noise. Hopefully moving forward, we can be competitive and win more trophies.”
