وقد يفتقد مانشستر سيتي خدمات عمر مرموش لمدة تصل إلى 10 مباريات حال وصول منتخب مصر إلى الأدوار الإقصائية في كأس أمم إفريقيا.

وسيخوض منتخب مصر مباراة ودية ضد نيجيريا في 14 ديسمبر القادم، لكن مانشستر سيتي سيسافر إلى كريستال بالاس في الدوري الإنجليزي في نفس اليوم، ويرغب في أن يكون مرموش متاحًا.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أنه من المتوقع أن ينضم مرموش إلى منتخب بلاده بعد تلك المباراة أمام كريستال بالاس، بينما يواجه ليفربول قرارًا مشابهًا مع محمد صلاح، حيث قرر المدرب حسام حسن الاستعانة به.

ومن المقرر أن يواجه ليفربول برايتون في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز في اليوم السابق، ومن المرجح أن يُتخذ قرار بشأن مشاركة صلاح إذا ما تم اختياره، كما هو متوقع، من قبل مصر لمواجهة نيجيريا.

ويبدأ منتخب مصر مشواره في كأس أمم إفريقيا بمباراته ضد زيمبابوي يوم 22 ديسمبر، ثم جنوب إفريقيا 26 وأنجولا 29.

Since Cash burst the net at the Stadium of Light, Villa have sealed two wins from two of their opening Europa League games, whilst securing precious back-to-back Premier League wins against Fulham and Burnley.

Interestingly, according to A Bola this week, the conditions of his loan-to-buy clause mean that Barrenechea is just one game away from becoming a permanent Benfica player and leaving Villa Park for good.

Apparently, all requirements for the permanent option to be triggered are nearly met, including appearances, and Villa are about to receive a £10 million payment for the Argentine, on top of the £2.5 million loan fee they got in the summer, right after he makes another cameo.

Indeed, once Barrenechea is given his next nod for Benfica, he’ll have met the 15 games required to activate his permanent move to Portugal.

The 24-year-old joined Villa in a swap deal last year with Douglas Luiz heading the other way to Juventus, but he hasn’t made a single appearance for Villa.

He was sent out on loan to Valencia in his debut season, where he seriously impressed for the La Liga side, though it is now Mourinho who’s poised to snap up Villa’s forgotten “wonderful footballer”.

“You called me to talk about my favourite player,” said coach Andrea Bonatti, who worked with the player at Juve’s youth academy.

“He is a wonderful footballer. He has many virtues. He is very technical, he controls the ball very well under pressure, he has that ability that comes from futsal, which allows him to have good ball coverage. He has an excellent short game with both legs. And a great long movement, when you have to give speed to the game.

“He is very brave in aerial play, in heading. He is very helpful in defensive and offensive actions in the air. He covers a lot of ground, he is a 6 that gives a lot of balance, that frees up a lot for the teammate next to him. He is always on alert, with a great tactical sense, giving orders to avoid transitions against the rival team.”

He has a sound defence, enough shot-making to avoid building pressure on himself, and the mental fortitude to become unmovable.Aged 21, he scored a double ton in Nottinghamshire’s Second XI. On Championship debut, Libby scored a 247-ball century. After a slow start to the campaign, there were a few questions asked about Enzo Maresca’s position as manager, but the Italian’s side have since returned to form, winning their last three matches on the spin in all competitions.

Alejandro Garnacho’s performance, on the other hand, wasn’t quite as eye-catching, with the 21-year-old still yet to get off the mark in front of goal since arriving from Manchester United, and Jamie Gittens hasn’t exactly hit the ground running either.

The former Borussia Dortmund man is without a goal or an assist in his opening eight games this season, with the Englishman’s form likely to be a concern for Maresca.

That’s the risk clubs take when they decide to sign up-and-coming talents, rather than ready-made top players, and it is certainly a questionable approach from the west Londoners, who have the capabilities to attract some of the best wingers in the world.

However, according to a report from TEAMtalk, Chelsea have joined the race for a new youngster, having opened agent talks over a deal for Vasco da Gama starlet Rayan Vitor, who certainly isn’t short of potential suitors.

Barcelona, PSG, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also named as interested parties, with the 19-year-old emerging as one of the best young talents to come out of Brazil in recent times, but a deal would be relatively expensive.

The teenager has a £35m release clause in his contract, although the Blues may be able to hash out a deal for closer to the £26m – £29m mark.

Jamie Carragher has previously made it clear exactly what he thinks of Chelsea’s recruitment policy, saying: “The club hides behind a prolonged transitional period that keeps being extended, focusing on signing the same type of young players in every transfer window.”

In truth, the young Brazilian would probably fall into that category, but that’s not to say he wouldn’t be a long-term success at Stamford Bridge, having shown signs he could go on to become a future star.

The Vasco da Gama star has 15 goals to his name in 2025, and he has received plaudits from scout Ben Mattinson.

That said, having signed Garnacho, Gittens and Estevao in recent times, it would be a questionable decision to bring in yet another young winger, and signing a centre-back should be a priority, given that Maresca is light on options at the back.

وشدد: “فتوح لاعب موهوب للغاية، لكن عليه أن يحافظ على نفسه ويركّز في كرة القدم، فالموهبة وحدها لا تكفي، أنا أتحدث من واقع خبرة، فقد نصحت من قبل لاعبين كبار مثل إبراهيم سعيد وعمرو زكي وصالح جمعة، وكلهم كانوا يملكون إمكانيات هائلة، لكن عدم الالتزام ضيّع الكثير من فرصهم”.

واختتم: “أتمنى أن يدرك فتوح قيمة موهبته، لأنه لاعب جيد حقًا، وإذا ركّز في مشواره الرياضي فسيكون له مستقبل كبير مع المنتخب ومع ناديه”.
