عقد مجلس إدارة الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، برئاسة هاني أبو ريدة، اجتماعه الدوري، يوم الإثنين 7 أبريل، حيث ناقش عددًا من الملفات المهمة. وأسفر الاجتماع عن اتخاذ مجموعة من القرارات على النحو التالي:
أولًا: بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا تحت 20 سنة
اطّلع المجلس على خطاب الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم (كاف) بإسناد تنظيم بطولة أمم إفريقيا تحت 20 عامًا إلى مصر، في الفترة من 27 أبريل حتى 18 مايو 2025، مع اعتماد الموافقة الرسمية من الحكومة المصرية.
نظرًا لضيق الوقت، تقرر:
تكليف المدير التنفيذي وجميع إدارات الاتحاد بتنفيذ المهام التنظيمية وفقًا لاختصاص كل إدارة، مع إشراف ومتابعة أعضاء المجلس.
تعيين المهندس أحمد مجاهد، عضو لجنة الحوكمة بالكاف، منسقًا عامًا للبطولة بين الاتحادين المصري والإفريقي.
تشكيل لجنة الاتصال الحكومي من المستشارين ووكلاء الوزارة المرشحين من وزارة الشباب والرياضة.
اعتماد الموازنة التقديرية للبطولة، وإخطار وزارة الشباب والرياضة رسميًا بها.
ثانيًا: المنتخبات الوطنية
الموافقة على برنامج إعداد المنتخب الأول خلال فترة الأجندة الدولية في يونيو المقبل.
تكليف الدكتور علاء عبد العزيز، مدير إدارة المنتخبات، برئاسة بعثة منتخب الصالات للسيدات المشاركة في بطولة أمم إفريقيا بالمغرب.
ثالثًا: شئون اللاعبين
اعتماد لائحة شئون اللاعبين الجديدة المقدمة من لجنة تطوير اللوائح، بما يتوافق مع معايير الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا)، تمهيدًا لإرسالها للفيفا لاعتمادها. ويبدأ تطبيقها رسميًا اعتبارًا من 1 يونيو 2025.
رابعًا: فترات القيد لموسم 2025-2026
تم تحديد فترات القيد كالتالي:
الفترة الأولى: من 2 يونيو حتى 7 أغسطس 2025.
القائمة الأولى: من 2 حتى 20 يونيو.
قوائم الإضافة: تُغلق منتصف ليل 7 أغسطس.
الفترة الثانية: من 1 يناير حتى 12 فبراير 2026.

خامسًا: تراخيص الأندية
الموافقة على بدء إجراءات منح التراخيص للأندية وفقًا للمعايير المعتمدة، وفق الجدول التالي:
تقديم الملفات: من 15 مايو حتى 10 يونيو.
صدور قرارات لجنة التراخيص: 19 يونيو.
فترة الطعون: من 20 حتى 25 يونيو.
البَتّ في الاستئنافات: 26 يونيو.
إعلان القرار النهائي: 29 يونيو 2025.
تكليف المدير التنفيذي بمخاطبة الأندية لحثها على الاستعداد والتقدم بطلبات الحصول على التراخيص في المواعيد المحددة.
سادسًا: تطوير كرة القدم المصرية
تفويض المهندس هاني أبو ريدة بدعوة أندية القسمين الأول والثاني لاجتماع لمناقشة تصور المسابقات في الموسم الجديد.
تنظيم ثلاث ورش عمل خلال مايو المقبل لمناقشة تطوير مسابقات الناشئين، بحضور مسؤولي قطاعات الناشئين بالأندية والفروع.
يتولى وليد درويش، عضو المجلس، عرض التوصيات النهائية للورش تمهيدًا لإعداد جدول مسابقات الموسم القادم.
سابعًا: إيفاد الحكام
تفويض المدير التنفيذي باعتماد سفر الحكام المكلّفين بإدارة مباريات من قبل الفيفا أو الكاف أو الاتحادات الوطنية الأخرى، بشرط عدم تحمل الاتحاد المصري أي أعباء مالية في هذا الشأن.

Tumult in the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) appears to have quelled, but there remains uncertainty over women’s cricket as findings into a “complex” situation are set to be shared at the ICC board meeting on April 10.The swift return of the Taliban last year cast a pall over the fledgling women’s game in Afghanistan, exacerbated after public comments by ministers that women and girls would not be allowed to play sport.It led to calls for Afghanistan to be culled from the 2021 T20 World Cup and sparked debate over whether their Full Membership should be stripped. Cricket Australia postponed last November’s historic men’s Test with Afghanistan.But Afghanistan have continued playing international cricket and the ICC has preferred to wait until a working group tasked with investigating the situation provided its findings. According to sources, in what is set to be its only recommendation to the ICC board, the working group has found 33-year-old Afghanistan allrounder Mirwais Ashraf’s appointment as chairman to be in compliance with the ACB and ICC constitutions. If accepted by the board then Ashraf will become an ICC board director.There was upheaval at the ACB in the aftermath of the Taliban takeover, with warring factions within the board trying to seize power for themselves. It culminated with Ashraf replacing Azizullah Fazli, who was in charge for just two months.”There needs to be stability within ACB,” a former ACB official who was interviewed by the working group, told ESPNcricinfo. “The chairman is meant to be in the role for three years. There needs to be clear directions (by the ICC) to the government that the constitution and procedures need to be met.”I told them (working group) that Afghanistan cricket shouldn’t be sabotaged because of the Taliban’s takeover of the country.”While there has been governance concerns and continual uncertainty over women’s cricket, revoking Afghanistan’s Full Membership was never really an option given their men’s team serves as a powerful symbol of hope and inspiration.”How can we punish the ACB for something they didn’t do?,” said an official with knowledge of the situation. “That’s out of the question. It’s not fair to pull the carpet out considering the progress they have made in developing Afghanistan cricket. If we start doing that then we have to banish half the (ICC) members.”Development and pathway structures for women’s cricket are part of strict criteria for Full Membership. When Afghanistan received it in 2017, an exemption was invoked on the proviso that they take active measures to develop women’s cricket. Before the Taliban takeover, the ACB had announced central contracts for a pool of women cricketers though they were still some way off fielding a team.After the Taliban’s takeover there were reports of female cricketers fleeing Afghanistan amid concern the regime would reinstate a ban on women and girls playing sport.”There is no way to know if women’s cricket is developing there right now,” an official familiar with the situation said. “The ACB is saying that women are still allowed to play. Indication is that the ACB is trying. Every country has an obligation to develop women’s cricket.””Women’s cricket was moving in the right direction prior to the situation changing,” McCollum told ESPNcricinfo. “The priority is to make sure their players are still available and can play. It’s a difficult situation. Afghanistan is complex.”In case complex becomes something a little more problematic, the working group contemplated the idea of controlled funding, where the ICC would make payments on behalf of the ACB (using Afghanistan’s share of the ICC’s money). It is a practice currently implemented due to the ACB having banking and foreign exchange issues since the Taliban seized power.”There is no impropriety at the moment and no reason to believe there would be danger of funds being sequestered,” an official said, with controlled funding not set to be part of the recommendations.The working group will convene a final time in Dubai to formalise its position before presenting to the ICC.

Leeds United have the chance to remain in the automatic promotion spots with a win against Middlesbrough at Elland Road in the Championship this evening.
The Whites are currently second in the table and a draw could see them move to the top, before Sheffield United play on Wednesday, although a win could be needed if Burnley win their match tonight.
Daniel Farke’s side are fighting for automatic promotion back to the Premier League at the second time of asking, after his team finished third in the division last season.
The West Yorkshire outfit beat Norwich City in the play-off semi-finals before losing 1-0 to Southampton at Wembley in the final, consigning them to another year in the second tier.
Their opponents this evening will be no pushovers, though, and it is unlikely to be as straightforward as the 2-0 win over Derby County last time out at Elland Road was.
Middlesbrough have won four of their last six matches in the Championship and secured a 1-1 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor in their last game.
Leeds will also be well aware of the threats that Michael Carrick’s team pose because they have already played them at Elland Road in the League Cup this season.
The last time Leeds played Middlesbrough at Elland Road
Back in August, the Whites were drawn at home to the Teesiders in the League Cup and Farke handed rare starts to Max Wober, Karl Darlow, Joe Gelhardt, and Patrick Bamford.
However, the likes of Junior Firpo, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Joel Piroe, and Brenden Aaronson, among others, were also in the starting line-up, which shows that the manager put out a strong side with the intention of getting through to the next round.
Anfernee Dijksteel put the away team 1-0 up in the 50th minute when the right-back burst forward and, far too easily, dribbled past Rodon in the box before slotting an excellent left-footed finish into the bottom left corner.
Delano Burgzorg doubled their lead ten minutes later after Josh Coburn threaded a through ball to send him towards the edge of the box, where the winger cut inside of Rodon before firing past Darlow.
The third and final goal for Middlesbrough came when Isaiah Jones was given far too much space around the edge of the box and his deflected shot fell perfectly for Coburn to tap into an almost empty net.
It ended 3-0 to Carrick’s men, who created four ‘big chances’ to Leeds’ two, and supporters will be hoping that Farke learned enough from that heavy defeat to prepare the team better for tonight’s match.
Latest Leeds United injury news
In his pre-match press conference ahead of this game, the German head coach revealed that multiple players are either out or are serious doubts to feature at Elland Road.
Firpo is one star who will definitely be out for the Whites. He had to come off in the first half of the 2-0 win over Derby on Saturday and Farke has confirmed that the left-back has suffered a hamstring injury that is set to keep him out of action for up to six weeks.
The Dominican Republic international, who was signed from Barcelona for £13m in 2021, has provided one goal and three assists in 15 appearances in the Championship this season, and his attacking thrust could be missed down the left flank.
Firpo is not the only Leeds full-back who could be missing through injury tonight, though, as Farke also revealed that Jayden Bogle is a big doubt with a muscle issue.
The Whites swooped to sign the English defender from Championship rivals Sheffield United for a fee of £5m in the summer, and he has started 18 of the club’s 19 league matches to date, which speaks to how much trust the manager has in him to perform week-in-week-out.
It is not all bad news, however, as Farke also stated that right-back Sam Byram is back in training and could return to the squad against Middlesbrough, which would make him a like-for-like replacement for Bogle.
Byram is not the only player who could come back into the starting line-up for Leeds tonight, though, as the manager could make multiple changes to the side.
Predicted Leeds line-up to take on Middlesbrough
The £18m duo of Firpo and Bogle both potentially being out will mean that two new full-backs will need to come into the team, which could open the door for Byram and Wober to start.
After Firpo went off injured against Derby, the Austria international came on at left-back and scored the second goal for the Whites, whilst also helping the side to keep a clean sheet.
That could mean that the defence lines up with Illan Meslier in goal and a back four of Byram, Rodon, Pascal Struijk, and Wober, with Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell as the double pivot in front of the backline.
The attack is where the German boss could make unenforced changes to the starting line-up, starting with Wilfried Gnonto coming in for Manor Solomon, as suggested by Football FanCast.
Farke could also decide to remove Brenden Aaronson from the team after a string of underwhelming performances in the number ten position for Leeds in recent weeks.

Farke could take him out of the team by unleashing academy graduate Mateo Joseph in a new role as an attacking midfielder behind Joel Piroe.

Daniel Farke must bring the Leeds United star back into the starting line-up.
Ipswich Town’s first season back in the Premier League for 22 years has been a tough one so far.
Despite picking up some impressive draws against Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United and beating Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers away, Kieran McKenna’s side find themselves down in the relegation zone.
However, with more than half of the season still to play, there is every chance the Tractor Boys can drag themselves to safety, especially with the incredible Liam Delap leading the line.
The 21-year-old poacher has been one of the signings of the season, so fans should be excited by reports from last month linking the club to another youngster who could be the next Delap.

Delap joined Ipswich for around £20m over the summer, and while that looks like an absolute steal today, there was no guarantee he’d be a hit.
After all, his top-flight experience from his time with Manchester City amounted to 39 minutes in the 20/21 season and eight minutes in 21/22.
Fortunately for McKenna and the Ipswich faithful, the Winchester-born poacher has been brilliant in his first full campaign of Premier League football, and while he didn’t start the season on fire, he’s now racked up an impressive tally of six goals and one assist in 16 appearances, equating to a goal involvement every 2.28 games.
Moreover, his brace against Villa and strikes against Spurs and Fulham have helped the Suffolk side pick up points.
That said, it’s not just his goalscoring that makes the “incredible” star, as dubbed by the one and only Pep Guardiola, such an essential member of the team, it’s also his ability to hold up the ball, bring others into play and generally give opposition defenders something to worry about.
So, the prospect of the club potentially getting their hands on someone who could be the next Delap should excite fans.
The young striker who could be the next Delap
So, to get straight to the point, the youngster who could be Ipswich’s next Delap is 18-year-old Celtic prospect Daniel Cummings.
The teenage phenom, whom football writer Kai Watson dubbed “a pure goalscorer,” was linked with a plethora of Premier League and EFL clubs in a report from Football Insider late last month.
According to the story, the up-and-coming forward’s contract is set to expire in the summer, meaning he’d be available for a minuscule compensation fee of around €310k, which converts to just £262k, and based on his form at the youth level, that could be an incredible bargain.
For example, this season alone has seen the 6 foot 1 marksman rack up an incredible tally of 23 goals in 22 games, while his career tally stands at 38 goals and one assist in 56 appearances for the Hoops’ various youth sides, equating to an average of a goal involvement every 1.43 games.
It is too early to say with any certainty just how good the young Scotsman will be, but based on his sensational record at the youth level, the signs are certainly encouraging.

If McKenna and Co were able to get ahead of the chasing pack, then, like Delap, they’d have another incredibly promising, prolific and physically imposing striker on their hands and one that could be worth a king’s ransom sometime down the line.
Ultimately, Ipswich are already lucky to have a striker like the former City gem leading the line, but what’s better than one devastating young striker? Two, of course.

وأشارت إلى أن فاتي طلب من وكيل أعماله، خورخي مينديز، البحث عن فريق جديد له، وكذلك أن يتفاوض مع برشلونة بشأن الموافقة على رحيله، حيث أنه لا يريد المغادرة على سبيل الإعارة، بل يريد صفقة انتقال دائم.
وأكدت أن المقربين من اللاعب الإسباني الشاب لا يتفهمون سبب افتقاره لفرص اللعب في 2025، رغم أنه يتمتع بلياقة بدنية وجاهز للعب، على حد رؤيتهم.

Após o treino, torcedores vascaínos falaram ao LANCE! sobre a atmosfera e o ambiente na Colina, durante o treino. Um deles, foi Leonardo Vieira, que falou sobre a festa e também a confiança para o jogo :

Até o treino aberto de hoje, eu não estava muito confiante, mas depois do que a torcida fez hoje, a atmosfera e a energia, me animou um pouco mais e me trouxe mais esperança. – Ajudou a dar um ânimo. Tinha bastante gente, uma das principais organizadas do Vasco que não pode ir aos jogos, pôde ir no treino. Isso deve dar um gás para o time, com certeza. Não tenho ideia de como definir a atmosfera estava incrível.

Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan said that Dhoni wanted the leadership “transition to be smooth” and felt Jadeja was ready to take up the mantle for the team, which won its fourth IPL title last year. Viswanathan said that Dhoni had announced the decision on Thursday at the team meeting before the squad left for training – the defending champions will play the tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.”MS Dhoni was thinking about it,” Viswanathan said. “He felt it is the right time to hand over captaincy to Jaddu [Jadeja]. He feels Jaddu is also in prime form of his career and it is the ideal time for him lead CSK. What will be good for the franchise must be [in the] back of his mind.”Jadeja, who has been with the franchise since 2012, will become the third player to lead the Super Kings side, after Dhoni and Suresh Raina.Speaking to the Super Kings’ social media team, Jadeja said, “Feeling good. Viswanathan said that while Dhoni had not personally informed him of his decision in advance, it was not a surprise to the franchise, and they had discussed the subject – the succession plan – even before the 2021 IPL and had alerted Jadeja at the time. “He [Jadeja] has been talked to earlier. Even last year, there was a proposal. We knew he would be the best person to succeed MS.”For the past two IPL seasons, there had been speculation around Dhoni’s future. Last November, at a function organised by Super Kings in Chennai, Dhoni had assured his fans that he would continue playing for the franchise for at least one more season.Viswanathan reckoned that Dhoni was waiting for the opportune time, just as he had when handing over the reins of the Indian team to Virat Kohli. “It is similar to when he handed Virat the captaincy after having groomed him for a few years at international level. Recognised as one of India’s great all-format captains, Dhoni’s leadership legacy at Super Kings is similarly phenomenal. After he led India to the title at the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, former Tamil Nadu captain, the late VB Chandrasekhar, had told Super Kings owner N Srinivasan about Dhoni’s worth as a leader. Srinivasan had then asked Chandrasekhar, who was at the Super Kings table at the inaugural IPL auction, to acquire Dhoni at any cost.Dhoni has, over the years, repaid that faith with interest. In terms of fielding, there are few better than him in international cricket, but it his desire to keep improving that has become his biggest strength. Recently, Jadeja climbed to the No. 1 spot for allrounders in the ICC Test rankings after his match-winning performance in the Mohali Test against Sri Lanka, where he scored 175 and then returned a nine-wicket match haul. Jadeja is also in the top ten among ODI allrounders, and is also a crucial member of the T20I side.In the last two years at Super Kings, Jadeja has been the key finisher with the bat, a role that Dhoni had played for a long time. Between the 2020 and 2021 seasons, Jadeja scored 459 runs at an average of 57.37 and a robust strike rate of 157.73. That included two half-centuries, the only times Jadeja has reached the landmark in a career of more than 270 matches. During this period, he also bagged 19 wickets in 30 matches at an economy of 7.78.While he might not have clocked enough captaincy hours, Jadeja has immense experience playing alongside Dhoni at Super Kings – 131 matches, since joining the team in 2012. And that, Viswanathan said that Dhoni felt, made Jadeja the best successor for him, considering he has the heft as a player, as a leader, as an allrounder, and as a matchwinner.
Leeds United have often had to offload their key talents over the years, undoubtedly preventing them from establishing themselves as a constant Premier League outfit.
Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha were two first-team members who departed Elland Road during the summer of 2022, joining Manchester City and Barcelona respectively.
Whilst the two deals saw the club bank around £100m in the process, it left huge holes in vital areas of the squad, leaving a real task for the hierarchy to replace the aforementioned stars.
The Whites were subsequently relegated to the Championship at the end of that season, still yet to secure a return and spending two years in England’s second tier.
With January upcoming, rumours are starting to appear with potential players linked with moves to and away from Yorkshire to boost their potential promotion or financial situation.
Leeds United transfer update
In terms of incomings during the January window, striker Dor Turgeman has been touted with a move to Leeds from Maccabi Tel Aviv, looking to try and improve Daniel Farke’s front line.
The 21-year-old has scored nine times in his 21 appearances to date, potentially having the goalscoring touch to supercharge the Whites’ ambitions of returning to the top flight.
He’s not the only player, with Ben Godfrey also named as an option to potentially move to Yorkshire, but any deal for the former Everton ace would take place in the summer rather than January.
As for departures, centre-back Pascal Struijk has been on the radar of the likes of Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur – which could see him follow in the footsteps of Archie Gray, who moved to North London in the summer.
It has been claimed that it is highly unlikely Farke would offload hiis club captain during the January window, but that Ange Postecoglou is desperately looking to add to his defensive options after their recent injury issues – with Struijk one option under consideration.
However, given the interest, the Whites must rebuff any form of interest, subsequently offloading one other defensive option instead, given his lack of impact on the first team in 2024/25.
The player who Farke needs to offload in January
Defender Max Wober joined Leeds in January 2023 under boss Jesse Marsch as he looked to fend off relegation from the Premier League in the final months of the campaign.
However, the 26-year-old would make 16 league appearances in the second half of the season, but was unable to drag the club out of trouble, dropping into England’s second tier as a result.
Wober would jump ship as a result of the relegation, moving to join Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach on loan for the campaign, with the German side having an option to buy.
Despite making 27 appearances in all competitions, the Austrian was unable to impress enough to secure a permanent deal, returning to Elland Road ahead of the ongoing campaign.
Given the fact former boss Marsch dubbed the defender as “special” upon his arrival, high hopes were expected of the former RB Salzburg star, but this season he’s failed to provide the quality many anticipated.
He’s made four Championship appearances, scoring once but injuries have massively plagued his time in Yorkshire, picking up another setback ahead of this weekend’s clash with Oxford United.
In his four outings to date, he’s only won two tackles and committed five fouls in the process, often being caught out when featuring in the first team under Farke.

Wober cost £11m nearly two years ago and given his recent form in the Championship, it’s highly unlikely that they would recoup all of the money from their investment should they offload him next month.
Any funds could help their pursuit of any of the players mentioned in the transfer update, handing Farke with added funds to try and bolster his ambitions of securing a third promotion to the Premier League.
